As with all businesses customer reviews are an essential part of your reputation. Even though we have traded for over twenty years it has only been the last five years where Autotrader the UK's largest online car advertising platform, have offered the opportunity to be able to build up customer reviews on their website.  It has allowed anyone who has come in to contact with us here at Dc Trading, to leave a sentence or two about how they felt we are doing. Our customers also mention the high level of customer service, fantastic condition of the cars and the huge amount of information presented to them before even arriving to view one of our cars.

In the last five years as the owner of the buisness I have worked tirelessly to make sure everyone is one hundred and ten percent happy, from the beginning of the process all the way to the end. I also want everyone to leave fully informed and happy with their purchase. It has then been with huge disappointment that I have received an email this week 07/04/2022 (as in first two photos see below) explaining that Autotrader are doing away with every single online review customers have left me over the last five years. This is devastating news as a small independent online retailer, who relies on their excellent reputation. I am not alone in how I feel towards Autotrader themselves but the alternative is just not possible for us to consider.

I currently have 153 FIVE STAR reviews on Autotrader and a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5.0 with 69 FIVE STAR reviews on Google

Unfortunately for all small businesses like mine Autotrader have given us all an ultimatum either pay double sometimes even triple for your monthly advertising or lose your reviews completely. There is very little we can do as paying double or more is just not financially viable, so their bully boy style tactics means I'm going to have to lose my reviews on their website.  So to replace my reviews I have uploaded all the available ones our loyal customers have given us before they disappear on the 22/04/2022.

This decision by Autotrader will have a hugely negative effect on us as people rightfully so want to be reassured they are dealing with honest, reliable and trustworthy people when purchasing a vehicle. Nearly every one of our reviews reflects these important traits in us. During lockdown when "click & collect/click & deliver" purchases came in to main stream retail the reviews system was absolutely critical in gaining that level of trust buyers needed to go through with making such a large purchase online.  I hope this page will help people realise we are an established, long running company who you can put one hundred percent of your trust in.
